Rescue Chickens!

Our non-vegan range is made using eggs from our very own rescue chickens! These hens include ex-battery chickens from a Southland commercial egg farm, rescued after the 2022 law change, as well as unwanted residential chickens. They now enjoy a second chance at life, roaming freely in a large, grassy space with plenty of soil and hay to scratch around in.

Our eggs are farm-fresh, organic, and free-range. As the hens are older, they lay beautiful, larger eggs that range in size from 7 to 9. They live out their full lives with us, receiving proper care, including regular vet visits and a well-balanced diet. We love seeing them thrive in their new environment!

While we use our rescue hens’ eggs in our non-vegan baking, we also have a wide range of delicious egg-free treats for our vegan and egg-free customers. Our packaged products, available in three stores, are made to cater to all tastes, offering something special for everyone.
